The Power of Squares

Everyone’s different — some more than others. One in five people have traits like autism, ADHD, or dyslexia, yet many face unemployment, isolation, and burnout, feeling like square pegs in a round hole. The Square Foundation advocates for the inclusion of neurodivergent people in society by working for widespread systemic and attitudinal change. We believe in a world that is fair & square for everyone regardless of how your brain works.

A Movement for Inclusion

In 2004, Specialisterne was founded and laid the ground for a movement of neurodiversity hiring by enabling thousands of jobs for neurodistinct people. It changed the culture in hundreds of workplaces. 20 years later, Square Foundation asked us to develop a powerful narrative and a strong visual profile that would help them spread and promote the inclusion of all minds in every culture and society.

We focused on the obvious: everyone is different, and many of us do not conform to a template of behavior. And why should we? Diversity is the superpower of evolution.

We helped the foundation formulate a strong message grounded in a new Purpose, Mission, and Vision.

Visual Approach

We created a mosaic-inspired brand using hand made squares and circles to symbolize the diversity and complexity of neurodiverse individuals. It conveys unity through diversity and highlights the importance of inclusion.

Neurodiversity is an integral part of the mosaic of humanity. The visual elements multiplies and forms patterns to show the strength we build in the richness of diversity.

There are squares everywhere.
